Guide for use:
Record the presence of residual tumour on completion of the course of treatment for cancer. In some cases treated with surgery and/or neoadjuvant therapy, residual tumour will be present at the primary site after treatment because of incomplete resection or local and regional disease extending beyond the scope of resection.
The presence of residual tumour may indicate the effect of treatment, influence further treatment decisions, and be a strong predictor of prognosis.
