Comments
Guide for use:
Pregnancy includes babies which were carried full term, abortions and miscarriages.
Comments:
Imprisonment may place pregnant women and their unborn child at increased health risk due to prison-related stressors. Alternatively, it may enhance pregnancy outcomes for women from disadvantaged backgrounds as it provides shelter, regular meals and medical care (Scott & Gerbasi 2005).
