Guide for use:

The number of lesions successfully dilated should be recorded for each percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) performed.

Successful dilation is where:

  • residual stenosis is less than 10% following coronary stenting; OR
  • residual stenosis is less than 50% after balloon angioplasty alone.
