Definition
Expenditures by specialised mental health services that cannot be directly related to programs operated by a particular organisation or service unit (that is, can only be indirectly related to a particular organisation or service unit). It refers to grants from the organisation, region or state/territory administration to academic institutions for the establishment and maintenance of academic positions in psychiatry or related disciplines. This item also includes the costs of the other academic positions associated with the professional position where these are financed from within the organisation, region or central administration’s recurrent budget.
