Definition
The setting in which exposure to asbestos is known to have occurred.
Asbestos exposure may occur in the workplace, for example, in occupations related to mining, plumbing, electrical or construction material.
Exposure may also occur in the home through, for example, exposure to asbestos housing construction material.References
