CODE 1 Remand
Remand refers to a person who is held in prison while awaiting the outcome of a court hearing.
CODE 2 Sentenced
Sentenced prisoners are those persons who have received a term of imprisonment from a court. This includes offenders who have been given an indeterminate sentence or custodial order, for example, persons detained under the 'Governor's/His/Her Majesty's Pleasure' and forensic patients, or those who have received a life sentence.
