The value of total income from all assessable sources. The assessable sources are those specified and used by the agency to establish eligibility for receipt of a housing assistance.

Context:
Assessable income is also used to calculate the rental housing rebate, that allows the household to pay a rent lower than the market rent. Each state and territory uses its own definition of 'assessable income'.
