Indicator Summary
The number of people invited in a defined 24-month period, excluding those who either opted off or suspended without completing a screening test.
People who opt off or suspend are excluded from the denominator as they may be already participating in other forms of screening or surveillance due to non-asymptomatic reasons. Therefore, the denominator is closer to a true population screening scenario.Items will be presented by sex and age group, by:
- State and territory
- Socioeconomic status
- Remoteness area
- Indigenous status
- Main language spoken at home
- Disability status
- Disease screening invitation round
- Screening test type
Some disaggregation may result in numbers too small for publication.
