Proportion of carers (of people with disability) aged 15–64 years in the labour force who are unemployed.
Indicator Summary
Number of carers aged 15-64 years (carers of people aged 0-64 years with disability) who are in the labour force (employed or unemployed).
Number of carers aged 15-64 years (carers of people aged 0-64 years with disability) who are unemployed divided by the number of carers aged 15-64 years (carers of people aged 0-64 years with disability) who are in the labour force (employed or unemployed) and is expressed as a percentage.
For each of the following carer status groups:
- Primary carer (2009 definition for reporting)
- Primary carer (2003 definition for time series)
- All carers
- Non-carers
2009 data will be presented by State/Territory, by:
- Carer sex by carer age group (15-44, 45-64, total 15-64 years)
- Carer remoteness area (major cities, other, total).
2009 data will be presented Nationally, by:
- Carer remoteness area (major cities, inner regional, outer regional, remote, total)
- Carer country of birth (Australia, other, total).
