Definition
The depth of tumour invasion into the myometrium.
The depth of myometrial invasion is assessed on microscopic examination and is measured from the normal endometrium-myometrium interface (not the surface of the intracavity or exophytic tumour) to the deepest tumour infiltrative focus.
