Definition

The acute coronary syndrome (ACS) related clinical events are those which can negatively impact on the outcomes of a person with ACS. Information on the occurrence of these events in people with ACS is required due to an emerging appreciation of their relationship with late mortality. The clinical event cluster collects information on the timing and type of clinical events experienced during the current hospitalisation.
