Definition

Proportion of regular clients who are Indigenous, aged 15 years and over, are recorded as having Type II diabetes or cardiovascular disease (CVD) and who have had an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) recorded within the previous 12 months with a result of (ml/min/1.73m²):

  • greater than or equal to 90;
  • greater than or equal to 60 but less than 90;
  • greater than or equal to 45 but less than 60;
  • greater than or equal to 30 but less than 45;
  • greater than or equal to 15 but less than 30 or;
  • less than 15.

Computation Rule
Description

Proportion of regular clients who are Indigenous, aged 15 years and over, are recorded as having Type II diabetes or CVD and who have had an eGFR recorded within the previous 12 months with a result of (ml/min/1.73m²):

  • greater than or equal to 90;
  • greater than or equal to 60 but less than 90;
  • greater than or equal to 45 but less than 60;
  • greater than or equal to 30 but less than 45;
  • greater than or equal to 15 but less than 30 or;
  • less than 15.

‘Regular client’ refers to a client of an OATSIH-funded primary health care service (that is required to report against the Indigenous primary health care key performance indicators) who has an active medical record; that is, a client who has attended the OATSIH-funded primary health care service at least 3 times in 2 years.
